On the morning of 21st March 2011, Zheng Wantong, Vice-Chairman of CPPCC and President of CICPMC met with Esko Aho, Vice-President of Nokia's in Beijing. Established in 1865, Nokia is currently one of the world's largest communication equipment suppliers after about a hundred and fifty years' development.
The meeting was held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere. President Zheng Wantong firstly expressed a warm welcome to executive vice president Esko Aho and his group for their visit and the two sides conducted useful discussions on Nokia's development in China under the newly-introduced twelfth five-year plan. Mr Aho highly praised the effort made by CICPMC to build a platform for facilitating the communication and exchange between multinational corporations and the government. He also expressed willingness to conduct further cooperation with CICPMC.
Zhang Xiaoyu, Executive Vice-President and Secretary-General of CICPMC, Cui Fuqiu and Fu Lei, Senior Director of Government Affairs function and Director of CSR function at Nokia (China) Investment Co. Ltd., also attended the meeting.
