Mr. Zheng Wantong，Vice Chairman of CPPCC and President of CICPMC met with Mr.Stephen A. Orlins, President of the National Committee on United States and China Relations in Beijing on the morning of December.13, 2010. President Zheng Wantong firstly expressed a warm welcome to Mr.Stephen A. Orlins and his party for their visit.

Established in New York in 1966, the National Committee on United States and China Relations is committed to enhancing the mutual understanding between the two peoples of China and the United States. The Committee comprises the famous scholars who are studying the Chinese issues and figures from business, labor, religious, academic and non-governmental organizations.

The meeting was held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, and the two sides conducted useful discussions about Sino-US trade exchanges, investment environments as well as public education and so on. 

Ms.Ma Xiuhong, Vice Chairperson of the Subcommittee of Foreign Affairs，CPPCC and former Vice Minister of Commerce, Mr.Wang Jinxiang, former Vice Chairman of NDRC,  Mr. Zhang Xiaoyu, Executive Vice-President and Secretary-General of CICPMC also attended the meeting.
