On September 3rd, Zheng Wantong, Vice Chairman of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the International Multinational Corporation Leaders Roundtable Conference, and President of our association, met in Beijing with a delegation led by Dmitry Fyodorovich Mezintsev, Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of the Federal Council of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Russian China Friendship Association. The two sides exchanged views on the preparations for jointly hosting the China Russia Business Leaders Cooperation Forum. Mezintsev has put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions to better promote and implement the 'Sino Russian Business Leaders Cooperation Forum'.
The 'Sino Russian Business Leaders Cooperation Forum' is a bilateral institutional meeting jointly initiated and hosted by our association and the Russo China Friendship Association. It is planned to be held twice a year, with the first half of the year being held within the framework of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum in Russia and the second half being held within the framework of the International Multinational Corporation Leaders Roundtable Conference. The purpose is to leverage complementary advantages and promote mutually beneficial cooperation. The two sides engage in discussions, in-depth dialogue, and practical cooperation. The first session will be held during the 11th International Multinational Corporation Leaders Roundtable Conference held in Tianjin, China from November 1st to 2nd this year.
