The 11th International Multinational Corporation Leaders Roundtable will be held from November 1st to 2nd in Tianjin Binhai New Area · Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone. The purpose of this International Multinational Corporation Leaders' Roundtable is to promote investment by multinational corporations, strengthen corporate social responsibility, and promote sustainable development. With the theme of 'Open China and the World', it invites many famous multinational enterprise leaders, important United Nations agencies, and relevant government departments to identify opportunities and challenges in the changing world and jointly explore the sustainable development of the world economy and China's economy, Actively promote open cooperation, especially investment and cooperation among multinational corporations, contribute wisdom, gather consensus, build platforms, and make new efforts to build a community with a shared future for mankind.


Peace and development are the themes and propositions of the current era. It requires the international community to shoulder historical responsibilities with unity, wisdom, and courage, answer the propositions of the times, and demonstrate the responsibility of the times. The International Multinational Corporation Leaders Roundtable was co hosted by 12 countries, including the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the United Nations Environment Programme, the United Nations Global Compact, and the United Nations University for Peace. Since 2007, it has been successfully held in Beijing for ten sessions, with remarkable results and widespread praise from the international community.


The 11th Roundtable of Leaders of International Multinational Corporations, guided by the important guideline of the 19th National Congress of the CPC to 'promote comprehensive opening up and form a new pattern', actively implements the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. After the opening ceremony on the afternoon of November 1, the 'International Cooperation and Development Forum', 12 sub forums and several summit dialogues will be held. Based on a global perspective and a Chinese perspective, we will engage in multi-level, multi-angle, and multi-dimensional dialogue and discussion on the focal points, hotspots, and difficult issues that everyone is most concerned about throughout the entire process. China has a 40 year history of opening up to the world and implementing reform and opening up. Multinational corporations are important participants, witnesses, contributors, and beneficiaries of China's reform and opening up. In the past 40 years, China has undergone tremendous changes, with sustained high-speed economic growth and over 700 million people achieving poverty alleviation according to United Nations standards. Since 2017, the global economy has shown a stable and positive trend, but global economic growth remains sluggish. Trends such as trade protectionism, isolationism, and populism are constantly rising, and the challenges to world peace and development are becoming increasingly severe. Under the new situation, looking at the new journey, China has more confidence in reform and opening up.
