In 2016, China's non-financial outward direct investment reached $170.11 billion, a year-on-year increase of 44.1%. From the perspective of industry distribution, investment in the manufacturing industry reached $31.06 billion, an increase of 116.7% year-on-year. Among them, investment in the equipment manufacturing industry reached $17.86 billion, 2.5 times the previous year, accounting for 57.5% of the manufacturing industry's outward investment and 10.5% of the total investment during the same period.
